225 ans à forger les armes de demain

From its origins 225 years ago to its mission within the Army today and its role in preparing the weapons of tomorrow, the STAT is present at every stage of the development and realization of equipment for the land forces. To date, it conducts around four hundred armament operations, ranging from individual soldier equipment to the renovation of battle tanks, from the SCORPION program to drones and helicopters.

The men and women who serve there, both military and civilian, deploy their expertise, driven by the passion for a collective endeavor and guided by the compass of accuracy.
Beyond the rich history recounted throughout the pages, this work illustrates the purpose of this venerable institution and serves as a tribute to all those who, over these 225 years, have acted with determination and imagination for the capability building of the Army.
